I think that x86 is a superior architecture. Here are some real tests for you to get acquanted with. PowerPC is not all it&#039;s cracked up to be for the past decade. This article gives a clear understanding of CPU designs and why Intel and AMD reign supreme. It also explains why Mac has failed miserably every time it tries to enter the server market with OS X server.

In order to get even remotely close to the GHz ratings of Intel and AMD, IBM had to basically overclock the G5. The only people using watercooling in the x86 world are overclockers.
