I appreciate that you keep track of things so that I don't have to. I very much appreciate our differences because it's those differences that allow us to balance each other out. Even so, I will forever tease you about your sock issue--my life would cease to be fun if I didn't give you at least a little crap. ;p

Alex,

I actually think OpenID is very, very cool -- to the point where I'm ready to implement it everywhere. I suppose I shouldn't say that "OpenID is only 5 minutes cool", but rather that simply logging in and out with only your URL is only 5 minutes cool. :)

Hey Ryan,
I'm glad I discovered (rather, you discovered me, via twitter) right about the time you started blogging again. Your thoughtful insight into daily minutia is something that I envy and wish I could do on my blog. I attempt to stay topical, and for me, while I have some obsessive/compulsive tendencies (like...if i have an idea for a feature on a site, its gotta at least get started now or else I wont be able to sleep for days while I stew on how it could or would be implemented). I also find myself wanting to keep things organized and straightened. Not necessarily even clean...just...straightened up. Some level of control, some level of design. Its an interesting pattern to observe in others, and then in yourself.

I'm actually really interested to hear more about what you thought about openID because I disagree with you..it's much more than a 5 minute cool thing, and I'd like to tell you why I think so.

I twittered you my IM contact info...drop me a line sometime, lets chat.

Cheers bro.
